Marian Rybucki

Marian Rybucki directs one of the most important piano classes at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris/Alfred Cortot since 1979.

He gives master-classes regularly in Europe, America, as well as in Asia. Many of his students have won international competitions (among them: Chopin in Poland, Santander in Spain, Busoni in Italy, Leeds in Britain,Geza Anda in Switzerland). He is dso a jury member of international competitions such as Beijing, Moscow,Monte Carlo, Porto, etc.

Having been Councellor for Music at the Centre National des Oeuvres Universitaires et Scolaire in Paris, he took over the artistic management of the Animato Association. For this association, he has created several new international competitions with a special philosophy that includes the participation of the public in the final decision for the attribution of the prizes.

Because of his great contributions, he received the prestigious decoration of the Golden Cross of the Ordre du Merite.
